Highways England won't reveal Oxford-Cambridge expressway cost – yet
The Oxford Times reports “HIGHWAYS England has refused to say how much it has spent on the Oxford-Cambridge expressway so far.”
The report states of Highways England, “in a reply to a freedom of information request, the agency stated: "There are compelling arguments which support withholding [the cost] which outweigh those supporting release.”

The No Expressway Group has a group bank account to which the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are signatories. The group will publish accounts on noexpressway.org each year which will be audited by an accountant from outside the NEG group.
If any funds are left at the end of the campaign, these will be donated equally between RSPB and BBOWT.
