No Expressway petition with 15,000 signatures handed into 10 Downing Street
The Oxford Mail and Herald Series carry articles about No Expressway Group delivering a near 15,000 strong petition to 10 Downing Street with cross party support including from Layla Moran.
They also run an article titled “Layla Moran: Why won't government talk about Expressway?”
Both articles refer to the government’s promise to review the Ox-Cam Expressway and Layla Moran referencing the rumours and unofficial statements from Conservative MPs that the Ox-Cam Expressway is about to be cancelled. She’s reported as saying ”this is no substitute for a formal announcement from the Government. I hope the delivery "of the petition will encourage the Government to scrap the motorway project soon.”

The No Expressway Group has a group bank account to which the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are signatories. The group will publish accounts on noexpressway.org each year which will be audited by an accountant from outside the NEG group.
If any funds are left at the end of the campaign, these will be donated equally between RSPB and BBOWT.
