BBC Look East (West) - this is the fullest report with footage of our events and includes interviews with Ben Everitt (MP for Milton Keynes North) and Daniel Zeichner (MP for Cambridge) and members of NEG, including the children who handed in the petition to 10 Downing Street. Additionally there is an interesting interview with Lord Adonis who was Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission, when the Oxford to Cambridge Expressway scheme was first proposed. He now says in this interview that if the East West Railway is done well, it might be possible to do without an actual new road.
BBC South Today (Oxford) - with footage of our events and includes interviews with Greg Smith (MP for Buckingham) and Layla Moran (MP for Oxford West & Abingdon), as well as with NEG. This report also shows a clip of Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Shapps MP, during the 2019 General Election campaign saying that he’s not convinced by the Expressway business case..
ITV Anglia - with footage of NEG taking the petition to 10 Downing Street, and interviews with Greg Smith (MP for Buckingham) and Daniel Zeichner (MP for Cambridge) and one of NEG’s younger members.
